American Resort Management, LLC of Erie, PA announce the selection of the general manager for the new Hampton by Hilton St. Albans, Vermont, scheduled to open in Spring 2017. St. Albans native and hospitality management veteran Maureen Brown will serve as the general manager for the hotel under development in the heart of downtown St. Albans. Ms. Brown is a graduate of BFA and received a degree in Hotel Management from Paul Smith’s Collage. Ms. Brown is a past president of the Franklin County Chamber as well as a board member for 10 years as well as a board member of the Franklin County Industrial Development Corp.
Maureen Brown lives in St. Albans with her husband Noel and two daughters, Bailey and Sophie. Ms. Brown began has previously held General Manager posts in St. Albans, Colchester, and Boston, and says “I could not be more excited to join the team at ARM and to be a part of this incredible project. I know the Hampton Inn in St. Albans will be a wonderful addition to our beautiful downtown. It’s nice to be home again!”

Hampton by Hilton St. Albans, located in the center of historic Saint Albans, is scheduled to open in Spring 2017 with 84 spacious guest rooms, and will feature Hampton Inn’s signature free hot breakfast, a 24-hour business center, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and meeting space ideal for small business meetings, events, or social gatherings. The convenient location in the heart of downtown St. Albans affords a close proximity to large regional companies as well as state and federal government offices, and is perfect for hub and spoke leisure tourism to a myriad of area attractions and a variety of outdoor activities in Northwest Vermont.
